About our Junior High
Heritage Christian Junior High School provides a high-quality, biblically-based education that is fully aligned with California state standards. Our program is designed to educate the whole student by offering a strong academic foundation alongside a diverse selection of elective courses, including Art, Drama, Speech, Debate, Keyboarding, Leadership, Worship Team, and more.
HCS is committed to academic excellence while also supporting students at all learning levels through inclusive instructional practices. Our goal is to challenge students academically while ensuring they feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow.
A highlight of our junior high program is the Washington, D.C. educational trip, where students visit Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Amish Country, and New York City. This immersive experience allows students to explore the foundation of our nation and gain a deeper understanding of the historical events and landmarks that have shaped the United States.
Our dedicated teachers and staff cultivate a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment. Many of our educators bring over five years of experience in their fields and are deeply committed to both academic excellence and spiritual development.
In addition, HCS offers a competitive and continually growing athletics program. Students are introduced to a variety of sports, including those they may not have previously experienced, and are guided in developing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Together, these programs make Heritage Christian Junior High School an exceptional place for students to build strong academic foundations, develop character, and prepare for success in high school within a Christ-centered community.
