Welcome to Heritage Christian School of Mission Viejo,
In the Fall of 2007, the Lord chose Mr. George Gay, to be our Founding Principal, and, with the help of community Christian leaders Heritage Christian School of Mission Viejo was established. The Lord has continued to increase enrollment every year. The continual growth has allowed HCS to add multiple classes as well as expand the school to 9th- 12th grades. HCS received its first accreditation in 2010 from ACSI and WASC and also received approval as an I-20 International school. Along with the school's growth and development, we have seen the addition of many wonderful and qualified teachers and staff. HCS is an independent Christian School, currently at two locations. Preschool through Elementary are located at the Reverence Bible Church campus in Mission Viejo and our Jr. High and High School are located at the Arbor Christian Fellowship campus in Lake Forest.

Statement of Faith
God
We believe in one eternal, infinite, and unchanging God who exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and fully authoritative in all matters of faith and life.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and bodily resurrection, He provided redemption for all who put their faith in Him. We affirm His deity, virgin birth, miracles, ascension, and promised return to judge the world and establish His eternal kingdom.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates and dwells in every believer, giving power for godly living, understanding of spiritual truth, and daily guidance.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Humanity
We believe God created humanity in His image, as male and female, equal in value and distinct in design, reflecting His nature and purposes.

Baptism and Communion
We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are commanded by Scripture as outward signs of obedience and faith. While not necessary for salvation, they are important expressions of a believer’s relationship with Christ.
The Final Judgment
We believe Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead. Those who trust in Him will live forever in His presence, and those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
Marriage and Sexuality
We believe God designed marriage to be a covenant relationship between one man and one woman. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be expressed only within that marriage covenant.

Heritage Christian School was established as an independent Christian school to provide an excellent educational experience based on the authoritative and inerrant Word of God. The goal is to facilitate the development of the student spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally, and socially, all for the glory of God. The educational program at Heritage Christian School is designed to benefit each student, with the balancing of a challenging academic curriculum and excellent athletics, recreational activities, computer and media opportunities, and creative expression in the fine arts. Our program aims to prepare and inspire students to do God’s will for generations to come.
