The Board of Trustees of Heritage Christian School offers financial assistance to families who demonstrate financial need. The objective of the HCS Financial Assistance Program is to help close the gap between the amount a family can afford and the cost of an HCS education.
How is aid determined?
Each case is confidential and is evaluated by the Finance
Committee. The amount of aid is based on several factors including family income, expenses,
assets and number of dependents.
The amount of aid granted during any given year will vary based on pre-approved amounts of financial assistance that may be granted as determined annually by the Finance Committee.
Financial assistance is offered on an annual basis; therefore, parents or guardians must re-apply for financial assistance every school year.
What paperwork is necessary?
In order for your application to be submitted to
the Finance Committee for review, ALL of the following documents must be turned
in to the HCS office:
All information provided will be kept strictly confidential.
What other requirements are necessary to be considered for Financial Assistance?
When is the deadline?
Returning families will be given priority consideration for financial assistance by applying before February 26, 2010.
After February 26, 2010, applications (new or returning families) will be processed in the order they are received. Pre-approval of financial
assistance does not guarantee admittance to HCS.
What happens after the application and other paperwork are submitted?
Following the HCS Finance Committee's review, applicants will be
notified by mail or e-mail of the committee's decision. Please allow up to four weeks for the entire process.
Thank you for choosing HCS for your child(ren)'s education. Should you have additional questions or require additional assistance, please contact jgaynor@heritagehristianschool.com.
